The course notes and correspondence element for each of the 8 modules will be despatched monthly. Students will be expected to submit an essay and Q & A section at the end of each month. These will be marked and returned. Students must have an understanding of anatomy and physiology, first aid and health and safety. They must also be familiar with the Code of Conduct and able to demonstrate that they can apply the principles within this. - Recommended background reading

Other related energy fields, including Kundalini will be discussed. - Practical sessions:
Students will attend a lecture giving a summary of the modules and practical demonstration of the techniques learnt. As part of this session there will be a question and answer time so that students can raise any queries they have. They will be then be given exercises to integrate and explore the elements of this module. For therapists and those involved in 'hands on' treatment techniques will also be provided to prevent cross-contamination of these field whilst giving therapy. - After completion, students will be able to:
